|1 ½ tbsp||liquid honey|
|⅛ tsp||ground cardamom*|
|Pinch ground cinnamon|
|Plain yogurt or vanilla ice cream|
Peel apples or pears; cut in half and remove cores. Place, cut side up, in a shallow microwaveable dish.
In a small, microwave safe bowl, warm honey on High for 20 seconds; stir in cardamom and cinnamon. Drizzle evenly over apples; cover and microwave on High for 3-5 minutes or until apples or pears are tender. Let stand for 5 minutes.
Place apples in dessert dishes. Spoon yogurt or ice cream into centre of each half. Spoon any extra sauce on top.
*Note: If you do not have cardamom on hand, you can easily substitute it for more cinnamon.
